Turning Points and Transformations: Descend then Transcend

“DESCEND THEN TRANSCEND”

Announcer: You are listening to Divine Realization Radio. Where you will discover the reality and essence of your presence. With programs brought to you by Project New Humanity Communications.

Announcer: You are listening to Turning Points and Transformations with your host, Bryan Rice. Will today be the day that you have your breakthrough in consciousness? It is time to be uplifted.

Bryan: Hello, this is Bryan Rice, you were just listening to “Revolution of Tears”. One of my songs from the album “Fractured and Delivered”. This episode is a rebroadcast from 2012 episode.

Bryan: Hello. I’m welcoming you in to the program and, wishing you a Happy New Year, the most happiest of New Year’s and prosperous New Year’s. We’re hoping that, that you had a blessed Christmas season and things have calmed down. Calmed down and settled down now. And you can root yourself into those New Year’s resolutions. So I’m Bryan Rice from the Order of the Friends of Jeshua. That’s o, f, j. and I’m here today with today’s episode. It is called “Descend, Then Transcend.” That’s “Descend, Then Transcend.”

Bryan: Now, At first, listen. You might wonder why the two are juxtaposed together. Well, there’s a big reason for that, a journey through consciousness (from) out of subconsciousness and unconsciousness to conscious awareness and presence. Peace and total awareness starts with work in the subconscious, starts with work in what we are unaware of. Starts with shadow work. All individuation work in the words of Carl Jung begins with working with and acknowledging things that you have repressed down into the subterranean abyss, the shadow. . . and the shadow actually leads you to gold in Jungian terms.

Bryan: Shadow has much to reveal to you about your true nature and also what you are not. So when we go down, when we mean descend, what we mean is going down into the places that we’re less inclined to go. It means taking a trip, a journey down into the ocean of the unconscious, to the subconscious, and whether you’re speaking in yogic terminology or in spiritual terms, universal, spiritual terms or Jungian terms or even or even mythical terms. We’re all talking about the same thing. We have to acknowledge what is dark. We have to bring light to the darkness. We have to be our own inner guru and bring things that are in the darkness into the light. That is the role of the inner teacher. Whether you call it the Holy Spirit, the Indwelling Life, the Divine Indwelling Presence. It’s all the same thing.

Bryan: We are a source of illumination within and without. We are light bearers and we’re gifted with born with the light presence your light from the light continuum, from the truth-reality continuum, and

Turning Points and Transformations: Descend then Transcend

we receive throughout our lives at different points, different turning points – different stages in the evolutionary process we receive illumination and light transmissions, gifts from the divine for us too, in our neurology and our biology to make gains in awareness, gains in consciousness to progress. We live in a world, we live in a humanity based upon progress. I’m a progressive Christian, myself, progressive, Christian, Progressive Catholic, priest, not Roman, but I acknowledge that movement of progressive spirituality is always a movement towards that awareness towards expansiveness, toward superconsciousness and many of the traditions in yoga speak of superconsciousness. Swami Kriyananda speaks a great deal about it. Paramahansa Yogananda spoke a great deal about it. Great living masters, like Paramahansa Yogananda, who lived in the 20th century and his direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda, they speak of this and you can do that work. Do the work of moving from subconsciousness to superconsciousness or intuitive, intuitive awareness by reading the book, “Awaken to Superconsciousness”, but we’re going to talk about philosophy of Kundalini Yoga and how that is a model for transcendence, but it doesn’t dismiss, the role Chakras or the lower energy centers in the process of coming to one’s awareness or coming to one’s bliss. Bliss is reciprocal. It depends upon a foundation. A strong foundation rooted in the here and now.

Bryan: Any promise of bliss outside of the present moment is mere fancy. Any promise of illumination outside of present moment awareness is not mere illumination but it’s a mere fragment of it. We need to be rooted in the here and now totally in the here and now. Totally present, totally aware, totally conscious, and how do we do that? As we said at the beginning, we have to go down, we have to do depth work, which is soul work. That’s what Father Richard Rohr would talk about, the Catholic Friar, and he’s spoken a great deal of that and as men’s work, men’s spirituality has taught, we have to do spirit work which is the transcending work or the ascension work, but we also have to do the descending work which is the soul work. Depth work. That’s where we get the words depth psychology from. Carl Jung speaks of it because I mentioned before and Carl Jung had a lot to do and a lot to say about mythology and how mythologies come to be in the journey out of the unconscious, out of the unconscious into the conscious world. Coming to know the self, the true self, that sense of I that is not separated from the universal. That sense of I that is vast. It’s big, it’s large, it’s expansive.

Bryan: And so when considering the whole journey that we are to go on, especially when we start a spiritual journey, we might have an initial experience of enlightenment or illumination or light transmission. . . but it always involves going deeper and it always involves following a progression into a period called the dark night of the soul. A test for the ego.

Bryan: In Kundalini Yoga, we call that Shakti Pod. Shaktipat in other

Turning Points and Transformations: Descend then Transcend

traditions means a blessing or a diksha or an initiation from a guru to disciple raising up one’s Kundalini into cosmic consciousness. But when we speak of it in that term and in the context of Kundalini Yoga, we call it the test of the ego – the dark night of the soul and we’ve all been there, especially those of us on the spiritual journey. It’s a necessary period of dryness or seeming separation from light. We might not feel the same sense of exaltation that we felt at the beginning of the journey. At the beginning of the illumination process. And what we have to do is we have to endure. We have to hang on and cling to the cloak of God, to the God Consciousness, the unified field of love, the unified field of all of constant and consistent awareness.

Bryan: How do we remain aware during the dark period when we need to really shine light upon some of the dark areas or the unconscious, the subconscious areas of our lives? Well, it takes endurance. It takes fortitude, it takes courage, takes courage to do depth of work, and we say depth work, we go down in the energetic anatomy down into the centers of the root of the sacral of the manipura or the navel into the lower triangle as it’s called Kundalini Yoga. The lower triangle contains seeds of the very seeds of enlightenment, a foundation. Roots under which we can build and grow our tree of consciousness, our tree of life.

Bryan: A tree needs strong roots to grow tall, grow high, to grow outward in expansion, and the same as so with our spiritual nature, with our spiritual journey or spiritual unfolding in having a meditative practice, prayerful practice such as centering prayer or contemplation. Our good efforts to keep us moving in a direction of progress, of transcendence.

Bryan: So what do we mean by going down into the subterranean? Well we hear of in the book of Revelation, an abyss, a watery abyss and a beast rising up from it. And mine, and many other people’s interpretation is beast is not the antichrist that’s going to come somewhere in the future, but it’s a metaphysical, an esoteric symbol of that very nature that we have to come to grips with, to kill, metaphorically kill or to individuate into our being. We have to recognize the beastial part of ourself, the instinctive part of ourself. We can’t ignore that we have instincts. We can’t ignore that we have an animal nature that we have very much in common with animals. Our brains are an evolutionary masterpiece, and our brains, contain the whole history of evolution in it. Now you can believe in evolution and still be a spiritual person. You can believe in evolution and still be religious person if you want to use that word, and I’m not encouraging you to become or to be or to say that you are religious.

Bryan: It connotes many things for many people, sometimes negative. We’re in an era of new thought and we use different words. It’s a

Turning Points and Transformations: Descend then Transcend

paradigm shift. We’re now in the Aquarian age. We’re not in the Piscean age anymore. So doing depth work. Going down. That’s kind of essence of the Paschal mystery as spoken of in Christianity, specifically in the Roman Catholic world, we have to go down into the tomb, into the darkness, into the earth. Then we can be resurrected. Then we can transcend or ascend. The pattern was set in place, by the Christ or by the person, Jeshua with the Christed nature. Speaking of Jesus, the only sign he said he would give to his people, was the sign of Jonah. . . and if you know the story of Jonah, it was Jonah was swallowed by a big whale and spit up later. Jeshua was talking about going down into the earth and then raising up as human consciousness to divine consciousness, raising up, rising out of the depths, rising out at the abyss, rising from the tomb. When we hit blocks on our journey, when we run into walls. . . These things are not just obstacles, but hurdles to clear. We have to learn how to move through them to break through these blockages to the awareness of Love’s Presence.

Bryan: Part of the work, in the metaphysical anatomy in the Chakras, in the metaphysical energetic anatomy is to work through blockages, to allow spirit to rise, and there’s a science behind it that involves our life force and our eliminative energy called Apana, our life force, called Prana. Apana becomes heated. A spark is created in our naval point and that spark that is heated. . . that psychic heat descends down to the root Chakra and awakens the Kundalini in one. “He who raises his Kundalini fast approaches Christhood”, said Paramahansa Yogananda. Our goal in life is to live an enlightened life, to live a blissful life, to be happy, to be healthy, to be holy. That’s it. That’s the essence. That’s the formula. How do we get there? We have to clear the subconscious. We have to remove the garbage. Take out the trash as Yogi Bhajan would talk about and spoken about in his teachings. Maybe that’s one reason Kundalini Yoga isn’t as popular as it could be because it involves doing subconscious work in comparison to Hatha Yoga.

Bryan: Now it’s more acceptable for people like myself to be doing Kundalini Yoga or work with Kundalini energy on the progressive paths of spirituality. The more inclusive paths of spirituality. We don’t see one path being exclusive of another. Yoga is not a religion. Kundalini Yoga is not a religion. It’s not a system of a cult of the occult. It’s a system of excellence. A system that brings about the caliber of human being, the identity that makes an impact in this world. It’s a technology. A sacred one.

Bryan: If you’re familiar with the program Rebirthing by Yogi Bhajan, you know that we need to remove the clutter from the mind. Much of that clutter is the overflow of the subconscious. There’s many things in many exercises and sets called kriyas that help us to deal with the subconscious debris and we’re going to continue to have to deal with it our whole entire lives until we’re free of our Karma, but we are

Turning Points and Transformations: Descend then Transcend

always, shoving things down into the depths. We’ve repressed many things. It might be in an experience or a situation where it’s not the wisest thing to express rage, so we repress it and it festers and it grows down in the depths, deep down within, and we’re going to have to deal with it sooner or later. Most likely sooner.

Bryan: We can’t ignore the dark. There would be no light without darkness. It’s a necessary opposite, it’s a necessary polarity. Even in worldviews, in our paradigm of non-duality, of oneness, we still have to recognize that we live in maya or that we live in a world opposites. That seems to be founded upon duality, so that means there are things such as opposites, such as light and dark, hot and cold, good and bad, good and evil. And I liked the writings of Swami Kriyananda from the Kriya Yoga lineage. He talks a lot about with “lila”, but Paramahansa Yogananda, his guru, talked about, which is this divine play, cosmic drama. The drama was only interesting when you have a hero and also a villain.

Bryan: The villain helps to elucidate the positive characteristics of the hero. You don’t have drama. You don’t have an interesting concept without a nemesis, without a shadow. Where is in our own lives, our nemesis. It’s not usually an external people, although people can come to us and be seemingly villain like I mean this is the meaning of love your enemies and like in the saying that says, keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer. Reason for that is it takes many, many times revealed to you. Your dark side. Because you come to project onto this figure where these figures, or these people or these situations. They enabled us to grow. They enable us to see past ultimately the blocks in awareness to keep us in unconsciousness.

Bryan: It’s why it’s good to marry, to have someone to be with in your life. They play the role of the revealer. They reveal things to you that come from the shadow, the density of the shadow. Without person to mirror that to you, it’s very easy to live in denial or disassociation of your dark qualities are dark aspects, but having someone there to mirror those things to you or to point out things to you that are less than loving helps us to grow.

Bryan: Everything contains its opposite. A paradox is a vision of opposites. Two seeming contradictory truths. Life is a paradox. Work on the spiritual journey is a paradox. Saying that we have to descend then transcend is a paradox. They seem contradictory. Why go down to only go to rise up? Why can’t we just rise up? With a pattern that the Christ, the person of Jeshua who is the light beer, a light bearer, one among many such such such such others as the Buddha, Krishna, both avatars divine incarnations.

Bryan: All avatars have something individually unique to reveal to the world about the God consciousness, the universal God field, universal God awareness . . . And what Jeshua Jesus revealed through his

Turning Points and Transformations: Descend then Transcend

personhood and divine Self. What he said, is we are immortal. We can’t die. That we have to go down into the tomb. The life process is a cycle of continually dying to the false self. That grain of wheat that must die in order for us rise above into the heights of awareness, the heights of consciousness, the bliss nectar of total awareness of superconscious, bliss… intuition, explosive insight. We gain insight from doing depth work. We gain insights from paying attention, not in an unbalanced way, but acknowledging the darkness within us, acknowledging that we have weeds growing in us next to our wheat of consciousness, aware of presence. The parable of the weeds and wheat really means when Jeshua Jesus said that we should let the weeds grow along with the wheat, otherwise we’ll pull out the wheat with the weeds is because many times our darkness, the qualities that we tend to repress or the qualities of that inhibit us or else the very qualities that enable us to evolve. Life is a process of involution and evolution as Tau Malachi of the Sophian Gnostic tradition, would speak about. It’s a back and forth process.

Bryan: Our angels are demons are demons are angels. It’s another way of saying, the same thing, a blessing or curse or curses . . .things that seem to hold us down or hold us back are the very things that can help us rise up. And transcend means to rise above. How do we begin this work? It’s more than we can cover in the show, but if anything, if I can instill for you the idea that this process of clearing the subconscious, it’s like finding gold in a gold rush. . . because when we recognize these patterns, these pain patterns, things that have limited us, we can begin to grow and to blossom, to flourish. Many times in depth psychology the shadow is said to reveal gold to you… that by recognizing the shadow you are enabled to expand ever more. At this point, I want to point out that it’s all God. EVERYTHING. Even the dark encounters or you might say, God is not darkness, but what I am saying is that all things come from God. God has no opposite. You know, all things are used to return to God. Even the image of the lake of fire comes from God. It’s a purifying fire, not something to damn you to hell for all eternity. . . a purifying fire. Though I reject the idea that there is a place exactly in the likeness of purgatory, I do accept the idea that we all have to go through a purging process until we can return to God consciousness. We have to burn our Karma.

Bryan: We have to reap what we sow. Sometimes it involved suffering and a lot of people don’t like to hear that. We don’t have to suffer, but we do because of our choices that we make, what we do and what we choose, what we think, what we act out. Well, we always have a choice. I’m not saying you shouldn’t live down in the depths or live through subconsciousness. Live in subconsciousness or unconsciousness, no, just recognize it. Recognize it for what it is. It’s something that’s there to help you grow, to help you evolve, to help you become more loving. . . . So we have to do the depth work. Without it we’re shallow people or hollow. But we really, in essence, carry around,

Turning Points and Transformations: Descend then Transcend

great density around with us and our personhood. When we don’t do our depth work, it’s already a dense experience being in the human body. It’s only exacerbated when we choose to live in unawareness, so what do we do. . . Again, it takes courage. There’s ways that we can deal with that shadow. . . things such as active imagination. We can dialogue with it, give a voice to a certain quality, give it an anthropomorphic quality to it treated it as a personage in dialogue with that, your value, your consciousness to shine through and shed light on what is being revealed. Give a voice to your darkness. It’s called shadow work. Folks. It’s not fun, but it’s necessary,

Bryan: So, if something is rising up within you that you don’t like, that you’re doing a meditative practice and that you realize you feel like you’re in a bad mood. It’s your subconscious clearing. It’s definitely a phenomenon that many people have experienced in the spiritual journey. That’s why it’s good to have a companion on the journey to share these things with because you start by releasing a lot of debris. Then you begin to think, oh my gosh, am I these things? Am I these qualities? But you’re not, you need someone to show you that you’re beyond that. You’re more expansive that you’re more aware. I want to thank you for joining me today. I wish you many blessings. Come back and join us next week on Turning Points and Transformations. Have a prosperous, happy, healthy, holy New Year. Peace. Joy to you.

CHRIST REALIZATION YOGA – DAY 59 (REVIEW # 1: DAYS 41-45)

DAY 59

Today I will review the following:

DAY 41

The Father-Mother, Divine Guiding Light, Universal Spirit leads me and accompanies me on this journey, this exile, through the wilderness of the world, every step of the way, as I seek the Inner Promised Land of sweetness, milk and honey wholeness.

I can never be alone nor uncertain or without perfect faith in the Father and Holy Spirit Mother Kundalini-Sophia. I cannot be disturbed because the Father and Mother abide in me, bringing me peace. I cannot suffer or be in despair because Love and Joy Divine envelop me through the Supernal Parents. I will not cherish the limited false self. I enjoy the gift of perfection because God Presence accompanies me on this journey every step of the way.

DAY 42

My deep abiding faith, belief, and power to Love comes from the Presence of God within. Christ Vision is the Father-Mother’s gift to my True Self and brings blessings of Joy and Peace.

My manas-sense mind and the physical body’s eyes are limited. I will not rely on them for sight today. I trade my poor attempts at seeing, believing in avidya-illusions for Christ Vision that is given by the Father-Mother. I invoke this gift today, so that my mind may seek to comprehend the Everlasting Goodness of Eternity.

DAY 43

I am an extension of the Primal Cause, God Presence, Divine Mind, Immortal Brahman Spirit, the Indestructible Father-Mother Source. I am a creation of this Loving Source and I see only in alignment with this Presence and Mind.

God Presence, Divine Mind wants me to see certain things and not others. I will see what the Supernal Parents want me to see. There is nothing else to see. There is God Mind’s will and then there are my avidya-illusions. I tend to choose these avidya-illusions when I believe I can see apart from my Source. When I choose to use the limited individual manas-sense mind and the body’s eyes, I see only what is unreal. The calming reality is that Christ Vision has been freely given to me to take the place of avidya-illusions and all related delusions. I affirm this day, that I will see through Christ Vision instead of the physical body’s eyes.

DAY 44

Through Gnosis-Knowing and Divine Realization, contact with the Light of Father-Mother God, the Immortal Indwelling, is possible. This contact and awareness is the powerful Light Source that allows me to see the True Reality of Love right now.

Darkness and ignorance impede Gnosis-Knowing and Divine Realization. The Father-Mother is the One and only light. In that case, if I am to see, it will only be in and through my Supernal Parents. I have been mistaken about what I thought sight was. I am grateful that it has been given to me now to grasp that through awareness I Realize God Presence is the Light Source that allows me to see the Truth and the Reality of Love in this Holy Instant.

DAY 45

The causal, ideational thoughts of God Presence are my real thoughts. From the Mind of this Divine Source comes all Truth, Love, Light, Blessings, Magnetism, Peace, Joy, Ananda-Bliss, and Santosha-Contentment.

My real thoughts are the thoughts that God Presence thinks through me. In reality, there is no separation and in truth, all real thoughts that pass through my mind are there because God Presence put them there. The Mind of this Divine Source is one with my mind. Therefore, my thoughts are my Supernal Parents’ and the thoughts that come from them are mine.

Teach Only Love, Even When You Are Being Crucified

“The message of the crucifixion is very simple and perfectly clear”:

“Teach only love, for that is what you are.”  (ACIM.CE.T.6.I.20:1-2)

The quote from above in the CE Edition of A Course In Miracles is followed by:

“If you interpret it {crucifixion} in any other way, you are using it as a weapon for assault rather than as the call to peace for which it was intended. The Apostles often misunderstood it, and always for the same reason that makes anyone misunderstand anything. Their own imperfect love made them vulnerable to projection, and out of their own fear, they spoke of the wrath of God as His retaliatory weapon. They also could not speak of the crucifixion entirely without anger, because their own sense of guilty had made them angry.” (ACIM.CE.T.20:3-6)

This comes directly out of the section of A Course In Miracles, which I believe to be a revelation from Jeshua (Jesus) to us in the modern day, to evolved minds that would now understand his teachings and messages which were often distorted and misunderstood for the very reasons mentioned in the above quote. Fear, anger, guilt, and projection.

Today is Good Friday in Christendom. Having been one who faithfully venerated the “weapon for assault”, the cross, every Good Friday, stopping to kiss it during the Liturgy in my Roman Catholic parishes I attended in my twenties and as a teenager, I focused on the solemn occasion of Jeshua’s death crucifixion and what I was taught that it meant. It was a “loving sacrifice” that he endured for us terrible sinners, who were lost without the ransom he paid through his suffering. For many Christians, the crucifixion was the Atonement, or the act of reconciling with God.

This is upside-down thinking, says Jeshua in ACIM. In my current understanding and belief, I tend to believe Jeshua (who I think authored and transmitted A Course in Miracles – you certainly don’t have to believe that to be reading this) when he says that the road to crucifixion was the “last useless journey” and that we should not “cling to the old rugged cross”, for our Atonement was set in action for us not by the act of being slaughtered like an innocent lamb, but through the Resurrection from the tomb where his earthly body was laid, where he proved that Love is stronger than fear of the egoic thought system.

People were afraid of Jeshua’s message would mean for their lives. That they would have to love, even in the face of being killed and maimed. The message Jeshua tries to get across to us in works such as A Course In Miracles and The Way of Mastery, is that there is no death and that we cannot be attacked, if we simply shift into the True Perception or Christ Vision that shows us only love, where we teach only love.

We crucify Jeshua over and over and do the same to ourselves when we are fearful and project our guilt that we carry with us. The message he, as a wisdom teacher, wanted us to realize, is that we are innocent, as was he. Innocent and strong. Even when we are being attacked. And when we know this, we can be defenseless, and in the midst of pain and even torture, we can feel love for our persecutors or those who “seem” to be attacking us. We can’t really be attacked or crucified, although many of you would argue from life experiences that this statement simply isn’t true. Pain feels too real. And it hurts.

Can you look into the eyes of another, who may be driving a nail through your wrist, with the eyes of love. Jeshua (Jesus) did. And that is what we must do. To RISE above the world and ego’s thinking that we are victims who have every right to be angry and afraid, and to be resurrected before the body dies and is laid aside. This means we have to have a major shift in our thinking. It is possible. We need but allow it to happen in our minds. By choosing only love in all instances, especially when it feels like we are being crucified. Especially then.

“Teach only love, for that is what you are.”

That may seem impossible, but it is something we should strive to attain and do. And we can. When we awaken to the truth of our being, that we are the Christ as is everyone else in this world, that we are all one and united, that nothing, not even our perceptions based on fear can separate us from one another.

So, I urge you to take a step back, this Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunday and look through the Higher Mind in you, where you know that, you too are forever innocent, that you, like me, may merely make mistakes that can be corrected, and that we have nothing to feel guilty about. When we do atone, or make right (undo) our perceptions of fear, transforming them into love, we too will be resurrected from the tomb of the ego thought system of death and guilt.

Jeshua may not have died to save us from our so called “sins”, but he did die, loving humanity and every soul that the Divine ever created. Most of all, he showed us a “better way”. So, it’s time that we come down off the cross, stop crucifying ourselves and even more, gently help our fellow brothers and sisters down from theirs by forgiving them of what they really never did wrong at all.

CHRIST REALIZATION YOGA – DAY 58 (REVIEW # 1: DAYS 36-40)

DAY 58

Today I will review the following affirmations:

DAY 36

My wholeness, my oneness, my sanctity, my experience of yoga-union and Communion with God Mind, Father-Mother, encompasses, surrounds, and blesses everything I perceive.

My wholeness, oneness, and pure in truth sanctity is the source of the Edenic State of Reality superimposed over the image of the world. I have released the past and my mind is healed of the disease of guilt. I embrace the untarnished nature and truth of my being and am at One with the Allness. My Christed sight sees and remembers only the radiant impeccable glory of the world, because in actuality the projected film of my thought vibrations are extensions of the what I reflect from my holy spotless nature, born of the Vastness of Divinity in Heaven’s Awareness.

DAY 37

My wholeness, my sanctity, my state of Samadhi-Oneness, my experience of yoga-union and Communion with God Mind, Father-Mother, blesses the world that the collective ego and my individual mind has created in which to learn, grow, awaken, and dissolve past accumulated karma.

When I see wholeness in myself I am not only infusing myself with love, but the entirety of Divinity’s Emanations. All brothers and sisters in spirit along with all things, even appearances that will fade when time comes to an end, are made radiant by the nectar of the joy wholeness and sanctity give to me. Not one single manifestation is separate from the joy of Communion with God Mind, Father-Mother, because all things share in the primal goodness of Divine Awareness. As I Realize that I am whole and sanctified, the wholeness and sanctity of the world emanates and radiates out from the Original Center and Expanse of Pure Light Truth also.

DAY 38

My wholeness, my sanctity, my state of Samadhi-Oneness, my experience of Yoga-Union and Communion with God Mind, Father-Mother can accomplish any desired outcome through the volition of conscious choice making.

My wholeness is free to express its fullness and vastness, qualities which have the power to cure and abolish sickness because that wholeness is sanctified by the magnitude of Eternal Oneness that liberates. From what else can I be liberated from in moksha (freed while living in this dream) except avidya-illussion? For all avidya-illusions are nothing more than insane beliefs about who I think I am. My wholeness dissolves and undoes all insanity by asserting the truth about who I really am. In pure presence of my wholeness and sanctified Oneness, experienced as Yoga-Union and Communion with Divinity and all His/Her Emanations, all sick and twisted gods of my ego-ahamkar’s making disappear.

DAY 39

My wholeness, my sanctity, my state of Samadhi-Oneness, my experience of Yoga-Union and Communion with God Mind, Father-Mother are my freedom, and my final moksha-kaivalya-liberation in this lifetime and beyond into Eternity where I rest, unbroken. Loved Far beyond crippling fear and guilt.

Since my wholeness protects me from the poison of guilt, acknowledging and Realizing the enlightened nature of my wholeness is Realizing my moksha-liberation. Doing this also acknowledges the moksha-liberation of the world. When I have embraced my wholeness and sanctity, there is not anything that can cripple me with fear. Since I am fearless, everyone I am connected to in spirit must also share this universal gnosis-knowing, which has been bestowed on me and the manifested world by our Source.

DAY 40

In truth, I am a Christed Son/Daughter, a sacred expression, extension, and emanation of the Father-Mother God, Brahman Immortal, the Dao Supreme, Divine Mind.

That being said and proclaimed, I Realize that all is pure and divinized. Christed. Anointed. I am a Christed Child of God and all divinized things are my inheritance, for the Divine Creator and Comforter-Sustainer of all that cannot perish, had the intent that this treasure be mine. In no way can I be tormented, deprived, or be afflicted with pain because I am a Divine Offspring. My Supernal Parents uphold me, keep me safe, embrace me, consecrate me, illuminate my mind-body vehicle, give me discernment through reason, and guide me through my contemplations, meditations, and actions. Their compassion extended to me is endless and exists forever. I am a sacred expression and emanation and am one with my Source.CHRIS

The Reality of Who, What, and Where
You Are

A Discourse

Bryan Rice

The  of Who, What, and Where You Are

In this adapted and updated transcript of a discourse first broadcasted on Christ Realization Radio by Project New Humanity in 2018, reflect on the nature of your Real Presence, Essence, and Being while considering teachings of A Course In Miracles about what reality is and where you think you are. According to A Course in Miracles, your Real Identity is Christ and you are One with God. That is who you are. Other traditions might call your True Nature, The Atman, The Self, The God-Self, The Higher Self, The Buddha Nature, or the Inner Guru. Explore ideas surrounding what is reality versus what is considered to be illusion and mere appearances seeming to exist as form. You are here for a short time, are as some say, subject ourselves to being stuck in cycles of death and rebirth, but have never truly left your True Home in the Paradise State of Awareness known as Heaven.

Announcer: You are listening to Turning Points and Transformation with your host Bryan Rice. Will today be the day that you have your breakthrough in consciousness? It is time to be uplifted!

Bryan: Joy to you friends. This is Bryan Rice. Coming to you on the resurrected radio network as you heard at the beginning of the show here on Christ Realization Radio. It’s taken shape in many forms. It’s been in existence since 2010 under different names with many different hosts and programming. All inspiring, all seeking to do the same thing, to speak from. What is the universal curriculum, rather the eternal, Reality of God. Sanataan Dharma. Transcending any one tradition. Many of the programs I’ve hosted in the past on Turning Points and Transformations, have had to do with topics such as yoga, yoga philosophy, kundalini yoga, A Course in Miracles, The Second Coming of Christ by Paramahansa Yogananda. While, those have been in programs such as the “Christ Within” or “Samadhi of the Christ”. This program, Turning Points and Transformations is unique unto itself for it seeks to draw from wisdom for many traditions and speak about things that are relevant to you and to your plan and path of awakening to truth. So we’re not limited to one text, one scripture, but I to use A Course in Miracles quite a bit because I think it is a path to God-Realization, Self-Realization, or would I call Christ-Realization.

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

Bryan: It’s a philosophical treatise (a form of spiritual psychotherapy), not a dogma, nor a fixed set of beliefs that you’re supposed to adhere to. Rather it gives practical, mystical insights that you can apply to your life, centering around the idea of forgiveness and transcending fear through love. The reality of love is all there is, really. It’s the only thing that is true as is stated in the introduction of A Course in Miracles. God is love and can have no opposite. Fear is called the opposite, but fear is not real. Today’s

program will go into the idea that there is nothing else at all in essence or creation or truth that can be opposed to Love. Nothing. And the title of today’s show is “The Reality of Who, What and Where You Are.” Well, what are you Who are you You are Christ. Some people would call it the self, the true self, the higher self, the Atman in eastern traditions and Hindu traditions. Where are you in the real world beyond the physical. What warrants such a discussion about reality? Well, we manufacture something that we call reality through perception, through that primal act of having attempted to separate from the love, the wholeness and oneness and completed aspect of God. We sought to reject our oneness because we thought there could be something else. The something else that we seek for is our own private individual experience, which we often try to call it creation or manifestation. I was going to say self-manifestation or self- actualization.

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

Bryan: What I want to spend a great deal of time talking about on this network here and now in 2018 and beyond is reestablishing the connection with that Christ nature, and when I say Christ, I’m not speaking simply of a person, not the person known as Jeshua or Jesus. I’m talking about a “Presence”, an Intelligence, an Essence, a reflected light nature and anointing, the Real Presence and life force of who you are is the Christ. You are that. You are a son or daughter of God. You were created in perfect oneness in Heaven. You reside in Heaven. You always have. But seem to be experiencing cycles of birth and rebirth or birth and death, reincarnation, coming back to this place we call a world, which we try to name as reality when in fact it is, but an illusion. That’s according to A Course in Miracles. You don’t have to believe that to listen to the programming on this network. I’m only here to try and get you to ask questions. To search, to continue to find nuggets of wisdom that you can take on your journey. It’s not in any way meant to confine anybody.

Bryan: This network is not meant to confine anybody to one tradition. As I was saying earlier, you could also say, much of what we are about on this network is divine realization or theosis, divinization, knowing that you are divine. That is your true nature. So, there’s two voices you can listen to. If we stick with the philosophy of A Course in Miracles, and again, let’s not get attached to terms. There is the Holy Spirit and there is the ego. Again. Holy Spirit can be called Higher Self, True Self, Inner Wisdom, Universal Inspiration, Higher Mind, again, True Self. While the ego can be called the false self or our beastial nature, where we seek to be independent of God, the Divine, the Divine Presence that is. So, if there’s still a question in your mind of who you are, it is not the self you have made. It is the Self which was created by the Divine, residing in… now always and forever in that edenic state of Paradise. Oneness, a state of awareness where all is one, all is in union. Where we are in communion with God. Your personality, the self you think you are the false self, the small mind. The ego thought system is something that you have

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

made. In A Course in Miracles, it speaks about creation versus making and we’re really meant to be co-creators with God, with the Divine, with the Allness. Bryan: But, in order to try to assert our independence and to try to become more than God and try to usurp the power of God, we make things. We make self-concepts, ideas about ourselves, self definitions, and then we call that who we are. Those images that we make. Our self definitions come from lack, fear, scarcity, and guilt. I’m not here to make you feel guilty on Turning Points and Transformations on this network and in other programs. I’m hopefully here to give you permission to be liberated from guilt. And this is coming from somebody who was extremely, extremely scrupulous in my twenties. I kept my priests in business. I was in the confessional confessing “sin” or sins. Or things that I thought I did that would leave some sort of mark on my soul trying to obtain and attain, and receive, absolution or freedom from self imposed torment from affliction all created by my ego. And we all do that.

Bryan: Christianity in it’s mainstream focuses a great deal upon these sins or infractions. Sin means missing the mark. A Course in Miracles calls it absence of love – but sin is NOT real. We just make mistakes. We make errors. We choose illusions, things that are not true. We choose against our Christ nature, our Atman nature, our Higher Self nature, our True Self nature, we choose against it. Where we feel insecure again, lacking. It’s that scarcity principle where we think we need something to be complete. When in reality we are already whole. At the top of every show, the question is asked of you, will today be the day you have your breakthrough in consciousness? Well, we’re not going to go into the mechanics of consciousness or perception or of the ego mind, how it was made, what it is, because the ego loves that. The ego loves to talk about itself. What we need to do in order to have a breakthrough in consciousness or in awareness is the better word… in awareness is to challenge what we have made, which are known as appearances. That’s a word used in the Course. Forms. The changeable or the changing.

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

Bryan: You are, changeless. You’re the changeless Son and Daughter of God, the Almighty, the Son and Daughter of the Divine Allness and that Divine Allness is beyond all gender and beyond all form. So, if we are one with our Source and are beyond all form, we too are formless… and that makes the form unreal. Well, the formless the formlessness of spirit, of potential, the actuality of who we are, the Christ, which A Course in Miracles says, is the one Son of God who we all are. . .

Bryan: Why do we manufacture our reality? Well, you can’t call it reality… Why do we manufacture a substitute for reality, rather? Because we were afraid. And this is happening now as it did a long time ago or appeared to happen a long time ago. That’s the good news. The good news is that really didn’t happen. The separation from God

really didn’t happen. The creation of the world, this universe, this earth, this place, this dwelling place that we appear to be in did not really happen. It’s an illusion. Time and space are an illusion. The real world, {the world of happiness and joy made by the Holy Spirit which is the goal of the spiritual journey, the state of mind which immediately precedes the awakening to Heaven, according to Course teacher Robert Perry’s Glossary of Terms} is where you are. Where you still inhabit is Heaven. And that isn’t necessarily a place. Heaven is a state of awareness, of perfect oneness, a state of awareness of perfect oneness, and we won’t go into the metaphysics of A Course in Miracles or other non-dualistic teachings necessarily, but we need to learn to distinguish between who we really are versus who we really aren’t. What we really are versus what we really aren’t. Are not rather. And where we are really, in reality, versus where we think we are.

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

Bryan: We weren’t content with being Christ. So in a certain sense you can say we like the biblical or the understanding of the fallen angel of Lucifer in Christianity who chose not to serve God and became what now is given so much attention as a demon or a devil, something diabolical, something evil. We’re all in a sense like fallen angels. We turned our back on God and Helen Shuchman, the scribe. Well, the one who took down A Course in Miracles from the voice which she said was Jeshua, Jesus. . . in her original handwritten notes talked about that, that what we’ve come to experience has been like a fall from – that fall from grace. The separation has been like us being a fallen angel, but we’re not a fallen angel. We’re still the pure, radiant, eternal loved, unchanging, undefiled, perfect Son and Daughter of God. In every moment we can give birth like mother Mary in Heaven did too. Jeshua, the awakened brother who calls us to a journey of awakening in A Course in Miracles (and other works such as The Way of Mastery). A journey that he completed, a journey that he says we can take as well and should take and will take because that is the will of God. That is what we want to do. Really in reality, that is our will too. So, we’re not in the substitute reality known as the universe, earth, time and space. We’re in that Edenic state of oneness, singing a beautiful hymn with the chorus of angels and light beings. He has One Whole

One Continuous Whole, One Ever-Expansive, Never Ending, Whole, Infinite Beyond Measure.

Bryan: What are you? The Christ, the True Self. You are pure inner wisdom and so we should let inner wisdom guide us. Each person has the teacher within them. When we appeared to separate from God, and I say “we” because it was the collective ego and then we did it each time and do it each time we choose to come back to earth through birth where there’s a script written {by the Holy Spirit after we choose to come back}. The ego writes its own version through dreaming, projecting, and image making, of what we think should occur in life, in the illusion of life, rather here on earth, or if there are other beings from other terrains, let’s just leave it at that. Other planets

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

maybe. Who, who are we to rule that out? And who are we to rule out other aspects of what we call reality, other realms, dimensions, the Christian Kabbalah, the Kabbalah of Judaism speaks of various universes being manifested through the act of creation. Now, I don’t have the complete and whole understanding of it, of that teaching. Those teachings, and I’m not an expert in that by any means, but why couldn’t we have created other universes, other galaxies. We created other planets {or some mind did} Some spiritual teachers and astrophysicists have spoken of island universes out there. Again, from A Course perspective, these would be alternative realities where form, may be manifest or a life – it’s called in scientific – in a scientific paradigm, from that point of view, in a biological sense, something that can be studied that’s dense, that’s matterward, matter bound, bound by was not created by God, but by the ego.

Bryan: Now, just a personal note, it’s taken me over 15 years to actually get through the text of A Course in Miracles. Why do I say that? Why do I share that? Why do I think that’s important? Well, I was only ready for certain aspects of The Course to be transmitted to me by Holy Spirit, by Higher Self, by Higher Mind, by Inner wisdom, by the Inner Teacher. . . by the Christ mind. Awakening can’t be forced upon us. It comes from above. And it comes from within. . .

Bryan: But getting back to reality in substitute realities in why we did it in the first place. When we forgot or disassociated from who we are, who we are, the Christ, the Son of God, the Son and Daughter of God, the Course uses masculine terminology. And I’m not too fond of that, but it’s purpose in my opinion – and my opinion doesn’t really matter at all really. . . But its purpose is to say that we are all the same. We’re not male and female. We’re not these individual bodies appearing as men in women with different skin colors coming from different heritages and races. All these differences that we see in the world, all this multiplicity, all this – all these forms, all these appearances, as I said before, are not real.

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

Bryan: It goes back to, we are the Christ. We’re the Self. We are the Atman. And when we forgot that and we thought that there was something beyond God that we could have and something beyond Christ that we could be. We gave into what was called the “tiny mad idea.” So from madness came this alternative experience. Let’s call it experience. Let’s not use the word reality. Let’s not give the ego it’s gratification or the satisfaction. (Pause) I take a moment. I pause and I asked Jeshua, Jesus to come to be present here with all of us as an older brother, as an enlightened being, as an equal, an equal, but as the awakener. . . to take control of this show. Jeshua, what do you want to be said and shared and talked about from this point forward?

Bryan: I believe what he wants us to do is focus on what the simple

fact that nothing that appeared to happen, that we thought we did or anything that we thought we did to God or to other people and to ourselves, never really occurred.

Bryan: Now you might say, if you’re somebody listening to this and never having been exposed to A Course in Miracles or to anything nondual in nature, you might say, well, how can you say that this experience here in this world seems to be so real? You know, what about the bills that have to be paid? What about the insurance bill that has to be paid? The taxes that have to be paid? What about the need to buy clothes? That’s all very real, isn’t it? Well, we’re told not to worry about those things. Though we have to to survive in this world, to live in this world. It’s a necessary part, but it’s not the entire picture. It’s not the entirety. It’s not the be all end all. It’s not all that is. It’s not what we should give our full attention to. We should be in alignment, alignment with reality, first and foremost, know where we are, know who we are, know what we are, and then everything else will fall into place if we know that, that we are Christ and we are seeing through the eyes of Christ which The Course calls Christ Vision. . . and if we see our brother the way God sees us and our brother or sister, if you want to use that term, which I like to, just to keep it from sounding one sided or biased, so God sees you a certain way, always has always will. And we’re to see our brother and sister, the person who really is our savior

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

The person who we think is our enemy is our savior, the person to which we project guilt onto is really one who’s meant to do deliver us and to give us salvation or liberation. Salvation is a word that’s overused even though it’s used in the Course

In this, this podcast, this show is coming from Course teachings, but again, I don’t want to limit the scope of what is known as the “universal curriculum,” which is not limited to the over a thousand page revelation known as A Course in Miracles, in all the various books that it exists. And those words themselves, are mere symbols, and they just tried to help us undo false thinking, erroneous perception, the substitute reality. Take the veil off from in front of roll it up, take it out of the way from the substitute reality so that reality itself can be shown to us the reality of oneness, of changelessness, of purity, of undifferentiated oneness, the eternal existence.

Bryan: We make laws with the ego mind, the limited mind, the small mind, the fractured mind, the false self, the self grasping nature, the ego illusion. . . So, we make illusions to make us feel better about ourselves. To hide and try to compensate for the guilt we feel – this immense unconscious guilt we feel about having so we thought, rejected God, and created a different existence. Again, an alternative reality. People today are now really into virtual reality, creating these alternative realities that you seem to be able to live in. A dream within a dream. It’s a word I haven’t used very much in the show, but this is a dream. You are dreaming even you’ll hearing me now you are dreaming this, but in the dream can come a light that can be

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

turned on. You can have an “a-ha” moment. Illumination can occur. Gnosis or Divine Realization can occur and you can realize who and what you really are and where you really are, which is were you never left, the heavenly dwelling place. The Edenic state of bliss. We want to awaken from the dream. We want to undo illusions. Recognize through true perception or even beyond that through knowledge where gnosis, what is real and what isn’t. And you hear the word idolatry used in religious circles going back to ancient times. The word idols is used in the Course. There are things we really, really, really thought we wanted, but we never really did. Where are we have sought completion because we have felt incomplete, fractured, broken. We’ve wanted to heal from our brokenness, from our suffering, from our pain, from our afflictions. We’ve wanted to wake up so bad . . . at the same time, we’ve tried so hard to erase that guilt that we feel for having chosen this place where we are, or we seem to be rather. Not where we are, but where are we seem to be known as this world, that we tried to substitute for eternity.

Bryan: Now, miracles allow us to change the way we view how we live in this world and they help us to wake up. Miracles, if you remember from the fifty miracles principles, are spoken of as interpersonal. They’re not just something to do to make yourself super human. There’s something that involves communication with or interaction with other human beings, other souls out there, spirits, other minds which The Course calls our brother. Again, our brother is our savior. So you are not different from your brother. You are your brother. Your brother is the bringer of salvation because your brother mirrors to you who you are, the perfect son and daughter of God, the Christ. If you see your brother as guiltless. If you see your brother or sister as innocent, you will be able to see the innocence in you. You will be able to start healing the unconscious guilt that you feel. You’ll start being able to unpackage the subconscious, deep repressed feelings, emotions and thoughts that we carry with us which take the form of guilt and then we would live out things such as lack as I mentioned earlier in the show, scarcity thinking we’re not worthy of abundance or love or grace. Where all the good things that come from the Father, beyond any gender. God is not anthropomorphic. God does not have a form. God is not a person. Neither are you. You’re not an individual

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

That’s something that’s hard to digest, hard to get used to an idea that’s somewhat foreign to us because we’ve grown up in a culture, in a world that prides itself upon being unique and one of a kind. That’s an illusion.

Bryan: We came here to be special. The Course speaks of specialness. Because we weren’t content with changeless love. Changeless love didn’t satisfy us, so we tried to find completion outside of ourselves. Hence we projected a world outside that we appear to be in, having experiences in, making choices. It’s really all a big hallucination. What you see out there as a reflection of your thoughts and keep in mind that you are a thought in the Mind of God. If that’s

the case and ideas leave not their source, like the Course says, then there’s no way we can be the product of our hallucinations, of our projections, of the image making that we take part in. So, really, discernment is an ongoing process. We have to ask, is this from the ego or the Holy Spirit to discern what is real versus what is unreal. Am I seeing through the eyes of Christ through Christ Vision or am I speaking or acting in accordance with the voice for God, the Holy Spirit or Universal Inspiration? Or am I speaking from a very small and cutoff, separated self. . .

Bryan: Sacred Heart of Jeshua. Jesus. Bless us all in this moment as we ponder these things, ponder these thoughts. It’s really encouraging and damn great news. . . excuse my choice of words, but I’m just trying to get your attention. It is great news. Now what we seem to manufacture never really happened. Never really occurred. It’s a figment of our imagination. It is a grand hallucination. It’s a script being played out that we wrote {This is a misnomer as I have come to understand. We try to write scripts of how we want our day to go, but the Holy Spirit really wrote the script that will enable us to wake up. It’s more appropriate to say that our ego invests in a personal story, rather, a dream.} Where we tried to be special. . . we’re trying to be separate, where we tried to be different where we tried to be individuals. Where we try to be unique. Where we tried to be more than God. Where we tried to create on our own, which the Course really would call “making,” which is not the same as co-creating with God {we create in Heaven}. Co-creation takes place in eternity. We’re called to extend love because we are love. We’re called to be love because we are love. And everything that we see and encounter with other people and in our own lives, in our own decision making and our own thought process is either love or a call for love, but oftentimes we tend to be experiencing life or what we think is life, through the lens of fear as we mentioned earlier in the show

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

Fear again in the opening of the Course is said to be the opposite of love, but what is all encompassing can have no opposite, so God really doesn’t have an opposite

So anything that comes from fear or from terror or from panic or from anxiety or worry or stress or anger or indifference or depression or sadness is from the ego. Because the eternal blesses our nature. Peace is our nature. Joy is our nature. Joy is our essence. Joy is who we are. We’ve always been joy and it’s joy to which we seek to return. . . and we seek that by becoming one with the Christ. . . one in being one in truth, walking with and walking, holding the hand and being guided by the Christ, the Christ Mind, which is the Holy Spirit

Which was God’s answer for the separation, for that primal error in judgment that happened immediately after we separated or tried to separate ourselves from God that’s called the Atonement, and many of you already know that in Jeshua, Jesus is in charge of the Atonement, at least according to the curriculum of A Course in Miracles, and the Atonement, was established by not his crucifixion but by his resurrection. So, when we appeared to transition in this life. .

from this life rather here on earth or wherever we may dwell

or seemed to dwell, again, it’s all a matter of how you use your words. And words again are but symbols they cannot describe love. We can only seek to try to remove the blockage to the awareness of God’s presence. God cannot be explained. Love cannot be taught.

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

Bryan: It can be shown to us, again, through revelation, experiences of God contact, union and communion with God, spiritual experiences of that oneness of which we already are a part of. And we have those experiences from time to time to help renew and encourage us along the journey to keep on moving ahead, keep on the path of awakening to returning. To returning to the Heart of God. {“Return to the Heart of God”} Just completed that book by Robert Perry from the Circle of Atonement, an outreach. Wonderful Book. I give it five stars. I will go back and read that multiple times and use that as a study resource because he outlines the whole fall {separation in Course terms} – seeming fall from grace, the state from which we came and our fall from it {though it never happened}, and then that trip back towards Heaven that we seem to have to walk because we live in a realm of perception, and perception is not reality. If I haven’t said that already, perception is not reality. It’s an interpretation. We all have our own interpretation of what life is. The ego tells us these things. Life is love. Love is all there is. Love is all there is! So be not afraid.

Bryan: I just owned up to this in a course I’m taking. I thought it would be great to keep a catalog of all the times that the word fear was used in the pages of the Text and Workbook, Manual for Teachers and in the supplements of of the Course and I tried to keep up with them all, quote them all and I was going to, I guess somehow make a flash card for all the quotes to see just how many times the word fear is used, but what I was doing was looking through the lens of fear. I was trying to master my fears instead of seek mastery through love. Because most of the time when the word fear is used in the Course, it’s used to describe that separated condition. The state of alienation we seem to experience. So to add to the title of this show, I had said who, what and where you are. “The Reality of Who, What and Where You Are”. I could add and “where you’re going”, but you’re not going anywhere because you haven’t went anywhere. That again is good news. You haven’t went anywhere. You’re still in the bosom, still in the embrace, still in the Father’s house. And in the Father’s house, there are many mansions as the Bible speaks of. Jeshua was said to have said that. Many dwelling places. . . don’t get attached to the word mansions and what it connotes such as forms because again, in the reality of who we are, we are form less. We have no shape. We’re part of an endless light continuum. A truth continuum that just keeps going and expanding outwards. It’s a “Fullness”

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

In gnostic teachings, it’s called the Pleroma and it’s a really cool thing to try and imagine as we’re called to extend and join with other people on our journey, people that we encounter in this world. And we’re called to have holy encounters. Yes, remember that. Don’t forget that. But we are

emanations of God. Creations and emanations can be used interchangeably. We radiate out from the Heart of God, the Mind of God, and we want to be at the end of the spectrum that’s so far away from God in what’s closest to the experience known as density or being matter-bound. Why are we so content with that and why do we call those appearances in that matter-bound world, in this matter-bound world, reality. When it’s not.

Bryan: Well, we needed someone to tell us that that’s not reality. We needed a radical shake up of our paradigm and worldview – and of our point of view, from which we view ourselves, God and our purpose. Our purpose is union. Our purpose is love. Our purpose is to forgive. This undoes the whole illusion. Forgiveness undoes illusions. Practice it as a means towards God-Realization, towards realizing God in your life, towards realizing the Christ in your life, the Self, the True Self of who you are, the essence of your presence.

Bryan: We talked a lot about guilt and how we feel guilty at the root of our being. And the root of our guilt is causing us to project. We project guilt on to others. We project the guilt that we feel – and the punishment that we feel we’re deserving of, for having made the choice to reject God and try to create a world where we could be hiding and separate from God. I lost my train of thought, but what I really want to do in wrapping up here is say, forgive. Forgive yourself and forgive your brother for what never happened. There is no past as the Workbook says. There is only the eternal moment of now which is called the the holy instant, and when we you live in that moment outside of time and space, we are living in reality. So the holy instant is a gateway to reality. And teachings on the holy instant is a show worthy of itself, worthy of its own focus, rather.

The Reality of Who, What, and Where You Are

Bryan: So friends, I thank you for having been present and just going with the flow here. Wherever it has seemed to take us. You are love. You are Christ. You are home. You never left. You have nothing to feel guilty about. You don’t need to punish yourselves or other people because you think you are unworthy of of that love. You are worthy. You are worthy. You’ve never done anything to change how God feels about you. I should add that God does not condemn, never has never will, so God has no need to forgive us. Forget about that whole image of a wrathful God who seeks vengeance. Won’t happen, will never happen. God doesn’t enter our dream, an experience, our madness, the only justice there is, that we experience and can experience and should experience is the justice of expressed through miracles.
