CHRIST REALIZATION YOGA – DAY 25

DAY 25
I am not aware in this moment in time and space, what anything I seem to see with the body’s eyes are for. Purpose and meaning are the same. But my individual mind has confused and tried to replace the purpose of Christ Mind and the Cosmic Vibratory Memory of God with a delusory thought system. I have many mistaken ideas when I choose to associate with the ego thought system. Since I do not know what any given thing I perceive is for, it by default has no meaning for me. It is time to let go of the meaning the egoic-ahamkar thought system has assigned to everything I seem to encounter in this world dream.

Everything in this world is supposed to be for my own best interests, according to the ego. But this is not the case. By design these things are supposed to fulfill me. That is what all things are supposed to be for under the thought system of the egoic-ahamkar. That is the purpose they are supposed to serve. The individual mind tells me that. Under this premise, my goals are in turn supposed to be unified. But this simply doesn’t happen when under the spell of illusion, subjectivity, and relativity. Everything becomes a blur and a distortion made to keep me asleep.

When I perceive with the individual, separative, subjective mind, I am unaware of what things are for and this mind gives meaning with its interpretation system. The aspirations and goals that originate in the individual mind that is separate from God Mind, are not in my own best interests, because I am in Reality not the individual egoic-ahamkar mind. My false association with the ego’s dream causes me to be incapable of knowing what anything means and what anything is for. Once I accept and acknowledge this, I will stop reinforcing my individual mind’s aspirations for the world dream I seem to experience and pull back from the projected images of these unconscious wishes. When I turn off the ego film projector by aligning with God and Christ Mind there will be a blank screen filled with golden-white light that the darkness of the images and wishes were hiding. Since I am only part of One Unified Mind, the wishes and desires of the individual mind really are concerned with nothing at all. By holding these wishes and desires as special, my individual mind has no goals, in the scope of what is True and Real, and therefore, I can’t know what anything is for.

When thinking in terms of superficiality, my egoic-ahamkar mind understands purpose, but True Purpose cannot be comprehended with superficial vibrations. The magnetism of thought at this level is weak and foggy at best.

In order to awaken, to grow in understanding, and to evolve, I must surrender and let go of the individual goals that come from the ego mind. Individual goals mean nothing. As mentioned in the previous day’s contemplation, Self and Christ-Realization, Divine Realization of who I really am is the only goal and will I really should and do have.
Today I will engage in contemplation six times for two minutes at each sitting. I will begin by reciting the idea for today and then start looking around me at whatever my eyes are drawn to, animate or inanimate. Then I will say: “I do not know what this _________ (be specific) is for.” I will say it slowly and mindfully.

Aum. Peace. Shanti. Amen.

CHRIST REALIZATION YOGA – DAY 24

DAY 24

My individual, egoic-ahamkar misuses the faculties of perception to receive messages that do not reflect what is of optimum wellness and truly right and good for me. Self and Christ-Realization is the only goal I should have. Due to strongly identifying with an individual, isolated self appearing to be in this world exile experience in the unpredictable wilderness, I seem to be under a spell of delusion that prevents me from perceiving outcomes to expectations that will bring me Supreme Santosha-Contentment.

Alone and apart from the Cosmic Vibratory Memory of Divinity Origin, the Holy Desire-Energy-Spirit in my mind, I have no real guide to making the best choices that would bring about Supreme Santosha-Contentment and my overall good. What I have perceived with my individual egoic-ahamkar have been misconstrued and untrue and therefore what I have chosen to do in almost all circumstances has depended upon my interpretations and perceptions. So, I must embrace acceptance that I apart from God Mind do not recognize what is Radically Right for me to do. To do what is Radically Right and good should be my only expectation at all times, because I am prone to hypnotic confusion about what is the best outcome for my True Self, Christ and Atman Self. Recognizing that on my own, I will be unclear about what is of optimum wellness for me, opens me to being taught by the Inner Guru, Inner Wisdom, Universal Inspiration, and the Intuitive Guide Within. Asleep at the wheel of this earth-bound experience will only block learning.

Today, I take a step towards expanding my mind about what is Radically Right for me to do while in this body vehicle, seeming to interact with outer objects, people, and experiences.

Today, I must be brutally honest with myself so as not to fall victim to contradictory outcomes, by accepting that my individual, isolated self knows nothing on its own. This is an important step in the process of unraveling the mind from the web of maya I am stuck in. I want to awaken in this lifetime. Therefore, I will scan my mind for two minutes for five practice periods. I will diligently look at only a few subjects, rather than many. To begin each practice period, I will recite today’s idea that:

“My individual, ego ahamkar misuses the faculties of perception to receive messages that do not reflect what is of optimum wellness and truly right and good for me. Self and Christ-Realization is the only goal I should have. Due to strongly identifying with an individual, isolated self appearing to be in this world exile experience in the unpredictable wilderness, I seem to be under a spell of delusion that prevents me from perceiving outcomes to expectations that will bring me Supreme Santosha-Contentment.”

Then I will use the searchlights of my mind shutting out the outside world from unresolved situations that I am obsessing over or am fixated on. I will tune into the the hoped for result that I want for each of them. It is important to realize that I may have many goals to attempt to reach the desired results and they are often contradictory. I will define each situation with a name and look carefully at the desired results I seem to want with each one.

I will say aloud, “With respect to ____________ (the situation) I want _______ and _______ and _________, to happen. The goal is to discover the many goals I have contained within my individual, isolated mind for each situation that I may be concerned about.
The correct application of this practice will reveal to me the many demands I am making in my individual mind, many of which are not really relevant to the situations I have chosen to examine. Again, I should see the contradiction of goals that I seem to possess while seeing that I have no clear, united end result in mind. The unavoidable consequence of this is sadness and a lack of Santosha-Contentment in relation to some of my goals.

After sifting through this list of the many expectations for each situation that enters the mind field, I will say: “My individual, egoic ahamkar misuses the faculties of perception to receive messages that do not reflect what is of optimum wellness and truly right and good for me. Self and Christ-Realization is the only goal I should have.” Then I will go to the next proceeding one. My hope is that I will see clearly, the dilemmas in which I am entangled, using Radical Right Perception to name and decipher the unresolved situations with the many expectations I have placed upon them, and in turn, see only what will bring about optimum wellness and Santosha-Contentment in the end by being in alignment with Cosmic Vibratory Memory and Voice for the Supreme Allness. Aum. Peace. Shanti. Amen.

CHRIST REALIZATION YOGA – DAY 23

DAY 23

I can dream a new dream, see a new world order by surrendering my assaulting thoughts that my individual egoic-ahamkar mind projects outward into the sea of nothingness-void, by letting the Radical Right Minded Projector shine Light and Love rather than the despair of fear. Fear breeds anger. Anger produces assault and attack thoughts. The only release from fear comes by transforming my chitta-mind stuff, the vritti-fluctuations of the mind.

By making my mind still and empty. By changing what I project. By extending only Loving thoughts. By welcoming in the neutral mind and caring for the aura and radiant bodies that are at my core, from the existence of the nine other bodies outside the physical. I must go beyond the physical sheath, the anna maya kosha out to the intellectual sheath or the buddhi mind, the mano maya kosha, and out even further to the Bliss sheath, the ananda maya kosha. Bliss will eradicate the fear that produces assault and attack thoughts. Perceiving with the physical ego-body’s eyes will always breed assault and defensiveness stemming from fear of danger.

Though I can be a change agent in the world, there is no real point in trying to manipulate outer appearances of form. At the level of causation and ideational thought, I must create in alignment with God Mind, a different experience while in the illusory world. Changing at the level of cause will change the effect on the movie screen of the matrix ego-womb mind. The world I seem to perceive is an assault on myself. But the illusory external unreality cannot really harm me in all honesty. The movie dream my split mind projects is not True Seeing. This is not sight, but hallucination. Image making is not the same as resting in Pure Being or Samadhi Oneness with Divine God Mind. My false-self superimposes images of assault and they seem to assault me back. Radical Right Perception must be welcomed by my Higher Mind, the Christ Mind-Atman Self. Mirages do not last and cannot have Infinite effects. Communion and yoga-union with God will be the Everlasting Will that extends rather than projects.

Aligning with Radical Right Perception and even going beyond perception at all levels to Gnosis-Knowledge or Divine Realization and Divine Contact will bring about true liberation from karma or the law of cause and effect that seems to bind me to all the physical bodies I have inhabited in life time after life time. I am tired of dying and coming back to the world I hallucinate in conjunction with the one fractured collective ego. Some people call the liberation I seek, salvation, but liberation has a different connotation.
Under the spell of maya-hypnosis, I do not see that I am the filmmaker, seeming to direct this motion-picture film drama of apparent happenings. My Christ Mind can change what is playing in the theater of shadows and replace the disturbing, violent, horror film, the product of fear and hate and must replace it with a different film which was made by Divinity Allness, Supreme Spirit, Brahman-Father-Mother, the moment the separation seemed to occur (although it did not), when the Memory of my Divine Origin was placed in my mind, Kundalini Desire Energy or the Rising Potential of my Holy Spirit Mother.

Five times, throughout the day, I will practice and contemplate today’s idea by pledging to offer up all fear produced assault and attack thoughts to Divinity about each thing my mind scans in the environment or veil that surrounds me. I will include my own assault thoughts and thoughts I introject that I think are coming from other people. Today, I project a new, more uplifting film. Aum. Peace. Shanti. Amen.

Unraveling and Peeling Away: The Core of the Ego – Chapter 3 in “A New Earth”

by Bryan Rice on August 2, 2011.

Chapter 3 of Eckhart Tolle’s best seller book “A New Earth” focused a great deal on the egoic mind, unconsciousness, reactivity, and holding grievances as they relate to delusional thinking.

He made a point of saying that most people are “possessed” by their minds – by an “incessant stream of involuntary and compulsive thinking.” Many of us if we were completely honest would affirm this to be true. Buddhists and eastern spiritual seekers call this the “monkey mind”. Chatter. Chatter. Chatter. If a person is not aware of this they will mistake the “thinker” to be who they are. This being the egoic mind, egoic because there is a “sense of “I” (ego) in all our thoughts, memories, reactions, and emotions. This Tolle said, is “unconsciousness” in a spiritual sense.

It is important to point out that thinking is conditioned by the past and many other factors. Again, honest introspection would show us that we identify with persistent thoughts, emotions, and reactive patterns. When we say “I” we mean the ego, not our real self. Furthermore, this I, says Tolle, “consists of thoughts and emotions – a bundle of memories that people identify with as ‘me and my story’ “. The false “I” also personally identifies with possessions, opinions, external appearances, long standing resentments, or even concepts of oneself as “better than or not as good as others – as a success or failure”. Egos survive on separation.

Thoughts and emotions are nothing more than fleeting information and energy, as Deepak Chopra might say. Most unenlightened people live through their mind-made self. So, if every ego strives to survive, to “protect and enlarge itself”, others will be seen as enemies.

Now we can begin to see the structure of personal and collective egos. One egoic pattern, rather on one side of the scale, the ego consists of the compulsive habit of “fault finding” and complaining about others, and at the other end of the spectrum are the seeds to physical violence between individuals and warfare between nations. The basic component at work is that, when a person criticizes (condemns) another, it makes them feel bigger and superior.

Complaining and resentment as a topic was a big part of this chapter. Engaging in this kind of behavior is a strategy of the ego to strengthen itself, it is part of the “mind-made story”. Some egos can’t find anything better to do than to survive on complaining. This happens many times, out of unconscious and habitual neural grooves that are formed in the brain. We love to apply labels to people, to name call, egos need to be right, to triumph. Lower consciousness causes a person to shout, scream, and resort to physical violence.

Resentment as an emotion is linked to complaining. It gives energy to the ego. Resentment really means to feel “bitter, indignant, aggrieved, of offended”. What becomes problematic, is that rather than overlooking another’s unconsciousness, our egos make it their identity. We misinterpret through projection and we strengthen in ourselves what we react to in another.

How does a person go beyond reactivity? Well, Tolle says that non-reaction to the ego in others is one of the most effective ways to go beyond the ego in oneself and also “dissolving the collective ego”. Moreso, one can “only be in a state of non-reaction if they recognize the ego or product of collective dysfunction in another”. More importantly, refraining from reacting to someone else’s ego, creates the potential to bring out the “sanity” in others – the unconditioned consciousness.

The greatest protection to falling into unconsciousness and acting out negative emotions is to be “conscious”. Continuing with the idea of non-reaction, it is not weakness in any way” to not – react. Tolle says it is strength. Non-reaction is equated with forgiveness – “of looking through another’s ego to see their essence”.

When we peel away to the core of the ego we see that it resents situations, not just people. The ego gets more energy by making enemies. Voices underlying egoic mind-made thinking, for example are “This should not be happening”, or “I don’t want to be here,” and “I don’t want to be doing this,” also “I’m being treated unfairly”.

A very important point to make note of from this chapter it that the ego’s greatest enemy is the present moment. We must remain neutral if we are to feel any sense of peace. The little “me” enjoys making someone wrong. The ego does NOT want to change. It would be content to go on complaining. To reiterate, the ego is a conditioned mind pattern. But, you are NOT the ego voice, rather you are the one who is AWARE of it. “You are the awareness that is aware of the voice”. Once you become aware of the ego inside you, it becomes just an old, conditioned mind pattern. Since the ego equates to unawareness, awareness and the ego cannot co-exist. Therefore, once noticed, the ego is weakened.

A big section in chapter 3 was subtitled “Reactivity and Grievances.” It talked about how people become addicted to being angry and upset, in the same way someone becomes addicted to a drug. Many people says Tolle, are “just waiting to find something else to react against, to feel annoyed or disturbed about”. No doubt, this is toxic. Such feelings are strengthened through continuous reactivity.

The way the planet is effected by not only individual egos, but the collective ego, is that collective grievances are potentially dangerous and can lead to cycles of violence between nations.

Tolle defines a grievance as “a strong negative emotion connected to an event in the sometimes distant past that is being kept alive by compulsive thinking – by re-telling the story in the head or out loud of ‘what someone did to me’ (or us)”. Furthermore, to show the effects of grievances he went on to point out that they contaminate other areas of people’s lives. For one, it creates negative emotional energy. Secondly, it distorts perception of people or events in the present. Also, it negatively influences behavior and speech, and it keeps you in the grip of the ego.

By forgiving enemies and keeping our grievances in check, we can target one of the many egoic structures of the mind. In essence, grievances are baggage of old thought and emotion and by focusing on something from the past, we cannot exist in the “Present”.

Other sections of the chapter dealt with the temptations of wanting or needing to be right and make another wrong, thereby strengthening your false sense of I (enhancing the false self by making it morally superior to others). Another section talked about how we defend ego illusions by taking everything personally and over-identifying with the mind and a mental position. Basically what was said in that section was that every ego is a master of selective perception and distorted interpretation and that again, only through awareness and NOT thinking can a person differentiate between fact and opinion.

Under the section “Truth: Relative or Absolute”, the distinction between defending insane points of view of misperceived notions of having possession of “absolute truth” has led in history, to such things as torturing and burning people who held different opinions. The Catholic Church was one such institution that used the notion of “absolute truth” to justify violence. Tolle made a strong point: “Absolute Truth is NOT found in doctrines, ideologies, sets of rules, and stories (made up of thought)”. Thought can point to truth he said, but never be the truth. The major trap of religion is for one to claim that “my” religion is the only true one. This only creates illusory thinking and division and conflict with people.

All these things mentioned point to why we need to help create “A New Earth” or a “New World Order”. We in essence are each, potential saviors. If we would only transcend the ego, by undoing it, we could live in the power of our True Presence. In the Now. Not in the past, not in hurts, not in grievance, not in negativity, not through defending what we perceive to be absolute truth when it is really relativism, not by separating ourselves from others in an “us” versus “them” mentality, and not through underlying dysfunction or mental illness. The reason the planet is caught in an insane spiral of perpetration and retribution, action and reaction is because collectively and individually, we don’t go to the root, or the core of the problem. It is the complete identification with thought and emotion that is leading to the destruction of earth. This is the old way, the non-evolved way. Our greed, our selfishness, our exploitation, cruelty, and violence all act as a time bomb that could destroy us all. Once we recognize that war is a mindset and that we can’t fight unconsciousness with unconsciousness, by making ourselves right and others wrong, we can peel away at the ego and see it for what it is: the insanity of the human mind. Through awareness and the presence of our Being, or through the I Am Presence found in each of us, we can exchange reactivity for forgiveness and compassion. It is only through radical honesty that we can in fact create “A New Earth”.

CHRIST REALIZATION YOGA – DAY 11

DAY 11
The time to initiate the mind de-fragmentation or correction process begins. The fluctuations of energy and information constructing a thought must be put under the microscope of discrimination. The magnified view from perfect Christ Presence illumination reveals your Christed Mind, the reality that may at first appear to devastate, but then unlocks the door hiding the truth that liberates.

The mayaic delusory dance of images are not the cause nor inspiration for thought current. The separation induced psychosis that distorts, determines the projected brain drama that you see superimposed on top of the screen of the world-wilderness, originating from the matrix womb of creation. The Christ Mind is forever in resonance with bliss and oneness while the separative impulse fails to realize that what the eyes see and brain interprets are/is meaningless and completely neutral. My personal ego gives or assigns what I appear to see meaning, taking a positionality, making judgments while grossly misinterpreting what I think is real.

I am here to learn about how to live in Reality without fleeing to the hiding place of the world seen by my body’s eyes, through the force of dwaita or duality that is at the core of separation, discord, and denied peace of mind.
